Privacy policy

Summary: the Plowkeep app does not collect your data. Your clients, properties, bids, contracts, photos and storm logs stay on your iPhone. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics SDK and no tracking. This website counts anonymous page and button events without cookies.
The Plowkeep iPhone app
- Data you enter (business details, client names and contact details, addresses, measurements, rates, bids, contract wording, storms, service visits and notes) is stored only on your device in the app's private storage. We never receive it.
- Photos you attach are resized, stored on your device only, and are not uploaded anywhere. The app asks for photo library or camera access only when you choose to attach a photo.
- Exports. PDFs and CSV files are created on your device. They leave the device only when you choose to share them using the iOS share sheet, under the privacy terms of the app or service you share to.
- Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. The app checks your purchase status with Apple to unlock Plowkeep Pro.
- No tracking. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code and does not use the advertising identifier.
- Backups. If you use iCloud or computer backups for your iPhone, the app's data is included in those backups under Apple's terms.
- Deleting data. Delete individual records in the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your device.
This website
The website does not use cookies or advertising scripts. The calculator runs entirely in your browser; the measurements, rates and prices you enter are never sent to us.
To learn which pages help contractors, the site records anonymous usage events in our own database: page views, whether the calculator was used (not its values), template downloads, and clicks on App Store links. Each event carries a random ID that lives only in the current browser tab (session storage, cleared when you close the tab), the page path, the referring site, your country and whether you're on a phone or a computer. We don't store your IP address with these events, don't build profiles, and don't sell or share this data; aggregate counts may be processed by our analytics provider (PostHog) with person profiles and IP geolocation turned off.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
If you email support, we use your message and address only to reply and keep a record of the conversation. We don't sell or share it.
Children
Plowkeep is a business tool and is not directed to children.
